Paul Lowe was excused. Also in attendance was Attorney David McCombs.

Results of 3/17/07 Council Meeting

  • Purchase of two defibrillator units . Motion Passed .
  • Teen Dance rule changes .
    • Individuals between 20 and 29 years of age are not permitted within 50 yards of the Recreation Center during Teen Dances with the exceptions of Holiday Camplands Staff, the DJ and Law Enforcement Officers.
    • No smoking within 50 yards of the Recreation Center at any time.
    • It is recommended that youth 13 to 15 years of age attend only from 8:45 – 10:15 PM
  • Emergency Procedures submitted by Safety Committee.

    *  Holiday Camplands Emergency Action Procedures may be activated by any two, filling the following positions.

       Fire Chief – Bill Seckler                                                                    General Manager – Roy Kightlinger 
       President - Safety Forces – Jeanie Seckler                                        Security Supervisor – Randy Gentry 
       President – Association – Jack Toomey                                          Maintenance Foreman – Gene Gilliland 
    Safety Committee Chair – James Retsch
    *  Factors to consider when making the decision to activate Emergency Procedures would include:

    1. Do there appear to be injuries in multiple locations within the facility?
    2. How wide spread is the damage to personal property?
    3. Is it likely that further property damage or injury may occur?

    *  Events that might prompt activation may include:
                                                    Tornado                                              Chemical Spill
                                                    Severe Storm Damage                         Breach-Gault Lake Dam
                                                    Earthquake
    In the event that procedures are activated, Security will immediately notify those listed above and ask that, if available, they attend a meeting at the Clubhouse as soon as possible. Should the Clubhouse Area be significantly impacted by the event, the Fire Hall would be a secondary meeting place. Individuals not available may have any other individual within Holiday Camplands attend for them. Notification to be attempted by Hi-Band radio, Holiday Camplands phone #, lot visitation and home phone #.

    Those that meet at the Clubhouse will constitute a Temporary Emergency Action Core Group which will be chaired by the Association President, or if he/she is not in attendance, the highest ranking Staff Member.

    The committee will have the  authority  to  close/open roads, buildings or areas within Holiday Camplands. The committee will have the authority to evacuate properties within  Holiday  Camplands, solicit assistance from outside Holiday Camplands  (see  Appendix  A & B),   shut off  utilities to areas  of  Holiday Camplands and  make  use  of  Holiday  Camplands/Safety  Forces  equipment. The committee will have the authority to solicit and direct volunteers (See Appendix C),  Staff Members or Contractors as needed.

    The Core Group will deactivate the Emergency Action Procedures when a majority of Core Group Members in attendance feel it is prudent to do so. The Core Group will deactivate Emergency Action Procedures within 7 days of their initial meeting unless Council requests that procedures remain in effect.
