Committees

Holiday Camplands has many opportunities to get involved in your campground community.

Communication Committee

Communication Committee Logo (2)

The Communication Committee was formed in 2020 to promote the disbursement of accurate information to the membership. The group endeavors to review, and update as needed, the various media platforms used to keep lot owners aware of news within the campground. The Committee also provides notice of events and points of interest in the surrounding communities. Social media as well as low tech platforms, such as bulletin boards and handouts, help reach the full population within the campground. The Communication Committee strives to provide the means to keep everyone in the Association up to date and informed.

Special Projects Committee

Holiday Camplands supports recycling of aluminum cans. This Committee provided the trailer dedicated to the collection of cans and transports the trailer to a scrap yard. Proceeds from these actions provided the funding for a playground for small children. As funds grow, this Committee will initiate and fund future projects to enrich the campground experience for children.

The Volunteer Corps supplements paid associates for various activities, events and duties. Corps members are easily recognized by their official red shirts and hats. Association members donate short periods of time as a cost effective way to staff the various venues. Volunteers help Security manage the flow of traffic entering the campground, provide a measure of safety and crowd control at larger events, such as dances, and assist in numerous organized activities offered to all age groups. Volunteers can commit as much or as little time as they desire. New members are always welcome and appreciated. Stop by the Clubhouse for a form to join this dedicated group!
